to the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake ("Moon Lake"). This crescent-shaped alpine lake with its crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by snow-capped peaks is a sight to behold. Camping near the lake (permitted in designated areas) under a starlit sky is an unforgettable experience. Note that the road to Chandratal can be challenging and is usually open from late May/early June to October.
