A short 6 Days Spiti Valley Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Manali & Acclimatization
- Arrive Manali with an overnight bus from Delhi and stay in Manali
- Check into your accommodation
- Rest and acclimatize
- Take a walk around the town to adjust you to the high altitude weather

Day 2: Drive Manali to Losar
- Leave early morning from Manali to skip the traffic and head to Atal tunnel
- From Atal tunnel, take a right towards Spiti Vallley and stop at Khoksar for breakfast
- Continue driving towards Gramphu and Batal
- Cross the Mighty Kunzum La (Kunzum Pass)14931 ft towards Losar
- Stay at Losar for the night at Samsara Camps

Day 3: Explore the Losar Village and Visit Chandratal
- Have breakfast and explore the beautiful and picturesque Losar Village
- Visit Losar monastery and prepare to go to Chandraaal Lake
- Drive to Chandrataal Lake or let us organize your travel to Chandrataal lake
- Visit Chandrataal Lake and spend some time at the high altitude lake 14100 ft
- Drive back to Losar Camp
Day 4: Langza, Hikkim & Komik - The Highest Villages
- Drive through the Chicham Bridge towards Langza
- Day trip to the high-altitude villages of Langza, famous for its giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
- Visit Hikkim, which boasts the world's highest post office. Send a postcard!
- Explore Komik, known for the Tangyud Monastery, situated at a significant altitude.
- Return to Kaza in the evening and stay overnight
Day 5: Dhankar Monastery & Tabo Monastery
- Travel to Dhankar Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. Explore the monastery and the old Dhankar Fort ruins.
- Continue to Tabo, home to the ancient Tabo Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its exquisite murals and stucco sculptures.
- Overnight stay in Tabo.
Day 6: Departure to Manali/Shimla
- Depending on your onward journey, you can either:
- Travel back towards Shimla/Manali. This will be a long day.
- Spend more time exploring Tabo and its surroundings before starting your descent.
